Turning Red Indicators Green

Enterprise Portal

Dashboard

  • PBX Registration: If this is red verify the SIP credentials that were entered for the user. Triple check PBX SIP credentials for the user you are installing. You might also need to white-list SimpleVoIP's IP address here is the info.

  • Teams Registration: This indicates that Voice Services for the User are successfully activated in in Office 365. If this indicator is a red circle, have the global admin log in to sync users. If the progress bar is shown on the dashboard please allow time for Microsoft provisioning. If the progress bar is not showing please contact your systems administrator.

 

Microsoft License Indicators

For all of these the first step will be to have the global administrator (or Teams administrator) for the enterprise log in to refresh our data. We do not store tokens, so we cannot pull the most recent data from Microsoft unless there is an active session. This happens automatically whenever the admin logs in; no further action is necessary to trigger a sync.

Direct Routing Management

If the licenses are red: they are not available for assignment.
If the licenses are yellow: they have expired and need to be renewed.

Availability: Ensure there is at least one license of each type available for assignment before setting up direct routing.

Manage Users

Square: This shows whether or not the user has a valid Microsoft User license assigned.

First Circle: This shows whether or not the user has a valid phone add-on license assigned.

Second Circle: This shows whether or not the phone license has successfully propagated in Microsoft. This can sometimes take 24 hours after the license has been assigned, so be patient with this one.

Phone: This shows whether or not Teams Calling is active with the connector.

Red Circle in place of phone: Have the global admin for the enterprise log in and sync users. 

Red “D”: This icon only appears if the Microsoft “Dial Plans” has previously been assigned to the user. This license will block the Direct Routing setup, so it will need to be removed in the Microsoft Admin Center.
