Check out the newest DECT IP Phone setup from SNOM Vtech- the M500. This is a great solution for locations without cat5 wiring and those wanting to maintain "Key System" functionality from the 80s. All cordless handsets and cordless desk sets have line keys that change colors and flash based on the status of other phones. When one phone is in use, the indicator light will be red on all other phones. It's easy to place a call on hold and pick it up on another phone. This has been very difficult to do using DECT based on the amount of wireless traffic required, however SNOM nailed it!
