This article provides information about the SimpleVoIP Business Associate Agreement (BAA).
For customers who are subject to HIPAA and who will use SimpleVoIP's services to create, receive, transmit, or maintain PHI, SimpleVoIP offers to sign a SimpleVoiP Business Associate Agreement (BAA). The SimpleVoIP BAA outlines the respective HIPAA obligations of both SimpleVoIP and the customer.
When purchasing SimpleVoIP services, such customer needs to request the SimpleVoIP BAA from its SimpleVoIP representative. SimpleVoIP will then send the SimpleVoIP BAA to the customer for signature. If a customer is not working directly with a SimpleVoIP representative, they can request the SimpleVoIP BAA by emailing legal@simplevoip.com.
Please note that SimpleVoIP cannot accept a customer’s own BAA. An example BAA is attached to this article.
